Son of Brooklyn Brewery owner dies in accident

NEW YORK - The son of one of the founders of the Brooklyn Brewery died in a freak bike accident when he fell off the upper level of the Manhattan Bridge to the lower level and into oncoming traffic. Sam Hindy, 27, and a friend had been drinking at bars in lower Manhattan and were headed to Brooklyn shortly before midnight Friday when they mistakenly entered the upper roadway, which is reserved for car traffic.
