Graco Recalls Harmony Highchairs After Reported Injuries

Graco Children’s Products Inc., based in Atlanta, Ga., along with the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, recently announced the recall of approximately 1.2 million Graco Harmony highchairs.

According to the manufacturer, the screws holding the front legs can become loose, sometimes falling out, and cause the plastic brackets on the rear legs to crack. The chair then may become unstable, which can lead to a serious fall hazard.

Graco has received 464 reports of its Harmony highchairs tipping over unexpectedly. The manufacturer has also received 24 reports of children becoming injured due to the highchairs becoming unstable.
